How reviews and ratings work
A rating should be understood together with the number and content of the reviews behind it.
Published reviews
Public review lists include approved reviews. Pending, rejected, hidden and sample records are excluded from the live review feed.
Review count and stars
Public business cards show the number of published reviews and their average star rating. A business with no published reviews is shown without an invented score.
Moderation and verification
Manual moderation decides whether content can be published. Verification is a separate signal about the customer relationship. Moderation is not a guarantee that every statement is true.
